Visitors to the site will be greeted with an onslaught of what looks like campaign banners for Senator Mar Roxas’ presidential bid come 2010 Philippine National Elections. However, as blogger 18-year-old Kevin Ray Chua writes, the blog ‘is not affiliated with Mar Roxas and the Liberal Party and is not backed or funded by anyone connected to Mar Roxas’.
The blog is a veritable fan site with Mar Roxas as the ‘idol’ and contains related new articles, press releases, Senate bills and public policies discussed and/ or passed by the Senator, positive opinions of other politicians and columnists, links like an online petition, friendster, youtube, xat.com, ning.com, etc. and even trivia! IF Mar Roxas runs and wins as Philippine president, he will be the fourth Bisaya president after Sergio Osmeña (Cebu), Manuel Roxas (Capiz) and Carlos Garcia (Bohol). All done in a bid to encourage, support and persuade Senator Mar Roxas to run in the 2010 elections.
MINUS POINTS: The blog has embedded music files which make it take forever to load and when the music starts blasting can really scare someone who isn’t expecting it.

I have seen the site. Mr Palengke is strong i guess. Well, I am not in the Philippines at the moment but I dont know what to say. Politics? Will he really run in 2010? Will he win? Is he good enough? Well, all these questions refer to Mar Roxas actually….

That is a great plan for the plan for the 2010 elections then. I never knew that all the media, especially the online or the Internet is very involved in Mar Roxas’ publicity. Anyway, so long for Roxas, after all, I am from the same island as he represents, which is the Panay Island in the visayas.
