The URL is indicative of what the blog is all about- “stuff on the web”- and the blogger, “Rogue”, really means it, its all sorts of stuff on the web, and we mean anything! Given this, its hard to classify what this blog is all about because it seems to be about anything- so perhaps “PERSONAL BLOG” would be the best category although a cursory look of its titles show an emphasis on tech-related matters.
We love how the blogger, Rogue, laments over reading too much online as well as expostulates on the losers and whining losers of the recent Olympic games. He’s a very dedicated Filipino blogger who has several blogs we believe and makes every effort to make each one as good as he can make it so we commend him for that. He also answers comments much more religiously than we do (sorry to our readers) and tries his best to really connect with people.
The new look of the blog is also a lot better than its previous incarnation (started in December 2007). We hope Rogue will consider creating a better banner though to match his new look as the current one is a bit amateurish for what we think he plans for his blogs. What do you think?

As the website address says, the blog is all about getting into Canada. And specifically targets Filipinos who want to find employment and live in Canada. The blogger, Mr. Apuntar, is an immigration consultant who offers blog visitors links to “free assessments” and even explains things like “citizenship judges”.
The right portion of the webpage gives quick links to recent articles, job bank Canada, Citizenship and Immigration Canada news with the actual blog entries presented in the half left of the page.
Aside from posting updated Immigration policies, application information, procedure and processes, most entries contain positive reinforcements to really engage readers to live and work in Canada. These include news on Canada - Philippines employment agreements, personal essays of successful migrants, some short introduction to Canadian cities like Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, new job listings and the like.
Potential immigrants to Canada would indeed find this blog informative.
Also known as TurfSite Manila, the blog is being maintained by an IT professional who is also a University professor to boot. Being so, the blog is no letdown. All the entries are well written, be they personal posts, family and classroom matters, current events, commentary on current events, basketball game updates, computer hardware and software info, gadgets, new tech websites, etc.
The blog is easy to read, useful and educational. It even offers step by step instructions for things like putting new widgets on your desktop, downloading videos from youtube, customizing usb storage, printing without ink, earning better than google ad sense, etc.
There are news and reviews on gadgets and services like palm, iphone, mac book, prepaid Mastercard and the like. Readers can pick up new ideas from websites introduced like www.avvenu.com, www.piknik.com, www.umobile.com.ph.
It’s guaranteed! You can learn a lot from this great blog.
