It’s Official, the Next US President is Filipino
admin | under Events around Town
This is a hilarious picture of the next US President. He goes by the nickname, Manny and he has fists of fury that can knock out any contender, male or female.
For Filipinos in the US of A, let us know how you’re feeling with the upcoming elections. What a pivotal time! Regardless of who wins, well we know who will win (heh heh), but both parties have candidates that will change America’s politics from Nov 2008 forwards.
It’s the dawn of a new age.
For our non-Filipino readers who may not be aware who the smiling face is, he is Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao (born December 17, 1978), simply known as Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino professional boxer. He is currently the WBC Lightweight Champion and the WBC Super Featherweight Champion, and was the former Ring Magazine’s featherweight champion, world champion at IBF Super Bantamweight, and WBC Flyweight divisions. Manny is the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win four world titles in different weight divisions. He took over as the Ring Magazine pound for pound number 1 ranked boxer in the world on June 9, 2008 after Floyd Mayweather, Jr. announced his retirement from boxing.

very funny!
what’s his name, Manny Obama? hehehe.
Hey! You had me there for a minute. hahahahha
While I hate the country has tanked into shambles like it has over the last eight years, this yellow dog democrat knows it is almost over and we’ll be back on top again soon. The only people I know even considering McCain are some of the party loyalist, and even those when I put them on the spot and ask them if they are serious, shrug their shoulders and look like kicked puppies.
The only reservations I have is what I’ll do with all that extra money as I begin to save on gasoline. As as recovered republican, I still get a rush as I watch the dials on the tank go and go and go. $35… $48…. $65….. $72…… But then I think of my job and the dozens of people it has laid off, cut back, or reassigned, and my Democrat side returns to the forefront and I know its time for change and to get the country back on track.
There have only been two reasons I’ve ever heard anyone say they don’t like Obama. “Just because” is one of them (which usually is a sensitive way to say HE’S TOO DARK!). The other is they repeat something totally untrue from one of those ridiculous email chain letters that comes through occasion. Not a single time since I started helping with the campaign have I ever heard anyone give a single, reasonable difference in policy as the reason.
Most reasonable people (that don’t work in the defense industry or oil) know that we don’t belong in Iraq, they know we shouldn’t have lost Afghanistan, they know torture is wrong, they know it makes no sense to hold people without trial or charge, they know gasoline cost too much, they know we used to fight against socialism (known as “bail outs” now, but it is what it is) and should have never modified our government, they know the Constitution shouldn’t be ignored, they know outing CIA operatives is illegal and immoral and DEADLY, they know passing trillion (that’s TRILLION) dollar deficits to our children is wrong…. They know all this.
Its just a matter of them saying “I goofed, and I’m sorry”, then get on with life and lets get it fixed. I did it, and they can do it too. There will be a few holdouts until the very end, because the republican propaganda machine can churn out swift boat ads with the best of them. But this time around, even Bush’s most loyal have turned. McClellan, Ari, Powell, and the list goes on. Even the god of political policy Rove has stated McBush has gone to far in insinuating Obama a pedophile and sex pervert.
The people will see it. And there will be some that never want to change, but as they go to vote, they will fill up their car and it will make them think, “Wait a minute”. And that is if they haven’t already lost their job, like over 600,000 of us have. Those guys will have already changed.
Just to let you know, non born US citizen is not allowed to be president here. You need to be born in the US to do that.
@Tony
You do sound like a recovering republican! I’ve asked my friends who are Americans who they’re voting for and while not necessarily happy with both, most lean towards the more sensible of the two- i.e., Obama.
Very amusing! He looks so wafu is a suit! Haha!
This one is also interesting….. its about barackman versus baracquiao….
hahahahaha!!!
go manny..
