Roy’s blog isn’t as bleak as the colors he uses. In fact, he’s quite an optimistic guy from Angeles City who is filled with dreams and opportunities, and just kinda fell into a rut for a short while and stopped blogging. He has come back though, and it seems, with a vengeance.
He explores real world issues like entrepreneurship in the Philippines where many people are merely self-employed versus being full fledged entrepreneurs. To find out the difference, check out Roy’s encounter with his facilitator. We also found his entry on his young son being disillusioned with GMA after her SONA particularly amusing.
He also owns other blogs, the House of Puroy being another one that is still in “active” status where he has some good articles about how Paypal works in the Philippines. We feel that most of Roy’s entries are sincere and that Roy is truly trying his best to make things work both in the online and offline world in order to take care of his family (without duping or taking advantage of anyone). So we wish him well in his endeavors!
This is a hilarious picture of the next US President. He goes by the nickname, Manny and he has fists of fury that can knock out any contender, male or female.
For Filipinos in the US of A, let us know how you’re feeling with the upcoming elections. What a pivotal time! Regardless of who wins, well we know who will win (heh heh), but both parties have candidates that will change America’s politics from Nov 2008 forwards.
It’s the dawn of a new age.
For our non-Filipino readers who may not be aware who the smiling face is, he is Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao (born December 17, 1978), simply known as Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino professional boxer. He is currently the WBC Lightweight Champion and the WBC Super Featherweight Champion, and was the former Ring Magazine’s featherweight champion, world champion at IBF Super Bantamweight, and WBC Flyweight divisions. Manny is the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win four world titles in different weight divisions. He took over as the Ring Magazine pound for pound number 1 ranked boxer in the world on June 9, 2008 after Floyd Mayweather, Jr. announced his retirement from boxing.
Student athlete, Galwin Fabian, sports a blog site that covers University sports events in Manila. He is himself a computer engineering student at our very own MIT (Mapua Institute of Technology) and a sports buff since 5 years of age! Btw, for those who don’t know where MIT is, its located in the historic site of Intramuros and is worth walking around if you’ve never been there.
His entries are mainly about sports including the coverage of the recently held Olympics in Beijing as well as PBA Rookie Draft picks, but he also adds his own share of posts about technology, travel, and student life. We think his blog is well written and quite professional.
Check out his latest updates about - Ateneo, La Salle, FEU, and UE battling it out in the Final Four of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
